Delhi – Amritsar (by train)
Depart from Delhi to Amritsar in morning at 0720 Hrs from New Delhi Railway Station with onboard Breakfast included. On arrival in Amritsar at 1305 hours, you will be taken to your pre-booked hotel for your overnight stay.
After check in, Lunch (at your own) and rest proceed to the Wagah Border (approx 30 kilometers from the city) between India and Pakistan, in an air-conditioned vehicle. At Wagah Border, witness the ceremonial changing of guard, the march-past followed by the singing of national anthem and other patriotic songs. Solders parading in full swing and the sight of India-Pakistan border from such close quarters will evoke a sense of nostalgia.
Amritsar - Delhi
After a sumptuous breakfast (included) at the hotel, proceed on a sightseeing tour of Amritsar. Visit the famous Golden Temple located in the heart of the city, Jalianwallah Bagh, a memorial built to commemorate the martyrs of the 1919 massacre; the Durgiana Mandir, dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga and Baba Atal Rai Tower. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Amritsar railway station to board the Shatabdi Express back to Delhi with Onboard Dinner Included.
