Do you want to escape from the humdrum city existence to an abode of peace with a serene ambience then you have to visit Zuluk. This place makes an offbeat tourists destination, as it has just recently caught the eyes of the tourism industry. Zuluk hovers over the craggy terrain in the East of Sikkim. It is a village situated in the proximity of the Indo China border at an altitude of 10000ft. As it is on the historical Old Silk Route, Zuluk got its prominence. Aritar is another little hamlet situated at Rongli, in East of Sikkim, at a height of 4600ft. Take delights in this untouched form of nature. You will be greeted with emerald forests, Lampokhari Lake, occasional waterfalls, terrace farming on the mountain slopes and sweeping hills, with deep gorges. You just cannot miss the breathtaking view of the Khangchendzonga range, and this is sure to leave lasting memories on your mind which will never be effaced with time. Visit Ramitey, Tinchuley view point and Damsang Fort, at Sillery Gaon. Would you like to take a walk in the clouds, visit Gangtok located at a height of 5500 feet. Take one kilometer ride on the bi-cable Zig-back ropeway, for a bird’s eyeview of Gangtok. You can also get a sprawling view of Gangtok town, if you get to Ganest Tok that is located on the ridge. There is a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, called the Hanuman Tok, at an altitude of 7200 feet and about nine kilometers up hill, from Gangtok. If you are here in December, you can witness the annual Gangtok Food and Cultural festival that displays Sikkim’s multi-cultural cuisine, coupled with music and dance performances. The Namgyal Research Institute of Tibetology has a huge collection of some of the rarest Tibetan, Lepcha and Sanskrit manuscripts, statues, 200 Buddhist icons and rare Thankas or tapestries. You should make it a point to have a look at these, at NIT.

#1 Day

Gangtok to Bagdogra (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri (NJP)

After breakfast departure for Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. Tour End

#3 Day

Zuluk to Gangtok

Very early morning visit Sunrise point, called Ganek in Zuluk ( Optional & Extra cost ). After breakfast proceed to Gangtok. The distance between Zuluk and Gangtok is 161 kms and time takes 5-6 hours. On the way visit Thambi View Point, Lungthang, Kalipokhri Lake, Old Baba Mandir, Nathang Valley, Tukla Valley, Menmecho Lake, Elephant Lake or Hati Lake, Kupup, New Baba Mandir, Tsongo Lake or Changu Lake. Overnight in Gangtok.

#4 Day

Aritar to Zuluk

Morning after breakfast proceed to Zuluk. Before that all the permit proceedings have to be finished. The distance between Aritar to Dzuluk is 42 kms and time takes 2 hours. Zuluk or Duluk is situated at an altitude of 10,000 ft of sea level and has a primitive charm. Zuluk is an abode of peace. Zuluk perched on the rugged terrain of the lower Himalayas in East Sikkim is a hamlet close to Indo-China border. Zuluk is located on the famous Old-Silk-Route. Zuluk is a relatively new offbeat destination of Sikkim and has a primitive charm. On the way to Dzuluk some places like Rongli, Keokhola water Falls , Lingtam and Padamchen are worth visit. Evening free for individual activity and leisure. Overnight in Dzuluk.

#5 Day

Sillery Gaon to Aritar

After breakfast transfer to Aritar. The distance between Sillery Gaon to Aritar is 51 Km. Afternoon free in Aritar. Or some beautiful places in Aritar which can be worth visiting. Lampokhri, Aritar Monastery, Dak Bungalow, Mankhim view point, Helipad etc can be visited in Aritar and surroundings. Overnight in Aritar.

#6 Day

Bagdogra (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri (NJP) – Sillery Gaon

After arrival at IXB/NJP meets our representative and transfer to Sillery Gaon. The distance between Siliguri to Sillery Gaon is 98 kms and time takes 4.30 hours. Sillery Gaon, situated at an altitude of 6000 ft. above the sea level is a small and beautiful village perched in the Himalaya. Sillery Gaon is only 04 km from Pedong and 33 km from Kalimpong. Sillery Gaon is a magical place to spend the time in leisure. Tinchuley view point, Ramitey and Damsang Fort ( Damsang Fort can be reached by 3 hrs trekking ) are worth visiting. Overnight in Sillery Gaon.
