The name means ‘Pond of Goddess’. Have you to visit this place you are sure to miss your heartbeat, it’s that beautiful, and the spell bounding beauty is the reason why Munnar is also referred to as ‘Switzerland of India.’ Trekkers and rock climbers, among the tourists, find it hard to resist the temptation to carry out this activity, when here. Waterfalls in India have always fascinated tourists, but, Cheyyapara Waterfalls are more than just fascinating. Among all the waterfalls, Cheyyapara Waterfalls is considered to be the most splendid. It is heavenly to watch the water flow gloriously down the seven steps. This place is surrounded by lush green forests and this is the reason you will be lucky to have glimpses of the different species of small birds and animals. At Thekkady, visit Chellarkovil, a village famous for its coconut groves and a spice plantation town, Kumily. Krisumala is a trekking and mountain climbing spot and Pandikuzhi is a photographer’s paradise. Would you like to view the Sabarimala hill and the Sri Ayyappa Temple?
